A new batch of onigiri

not empty?

It's always hardest to begin. Even if it's just a beginning of a return after a long break. But here I am now.

For those who arrived here for the first time (which would be almost everyone among English-speaking guests), a bit of history - three years ago I had the pleasure to spend three months working remotely from Japan. I decided back then to keep a record of my stay in the form of a blog, which can still be found in it's original location (I'm afraid it's only in Polish). I didn't do the greatest job back then. My main mistake was to try and keep my posts chronological. Which led to a growing backlog of things to write, and the bigger it was, the harder it became to keep up, and in the end the whole idea failed.

Three years later (which would happen to be now) I finally managed to realize one of my life dreams - a fully remote job. As long as I have good internet access and reach an agreement about work hours, I can work from wherever I want. As such, having learned from my earlier mistakes, I decided to try once again.

The blog you have before your eyes, my dear readers, is my new creation not only when it comes to contents, but the whole blog engine is written my me, specifically for my requirements (one of which is being able to keep it bilingual). This of course means that errors might pop up (don't be afraid to report them), but on the other hand that means new functionally will gradually appear. Also, along with new stories, I do plan to copy contents from the old blog to this one, so I can keep everything in one place. No promises, but I might even translate them to English as well.

On that note, I wish to welcome everyone and hope you find what I write interesting.
